Besides teaching in the School of Philosophy and Social Development in the university, he has participated in many academic conferences in China.

He has been teaching in China Evangelical Seminary North America as well.

He is a diligent writer. His masterpieces included The Way and Truth: The Gospel of John in the History of Western Thought, Liberty and Existence: Tracing the View of Liberty in the History of Western Thought, and Four Treatises on Liberty and Duty.
