Supporting CCSANA
Since 2001, Blessings has supported the Chinese Christian Scholars Association in North America. The association’s main activities include the following:
- (1) Hosting academic conferences in North America for scholars from mainland China. President Rev. Grant Chen has participated in these conferences many times.
- (2) Organizing the Advanced Seminar on Religion and Culture in North America each summer for university faculty from mainland China. Whenever the seminar participants visited Los Angeles, Blessings often hosted the group, and President Rev. Grant Chen gave lectures on selected topics.
- (3) Inviting Western Christian scholars to lecture at universities in mainland China.
- (4) Publishing the conference proceedings series Christianity and China. The first six volumes were published with support from Blessings.
