Since Dr. Wenyu Xie began teaching at Shandong University in 2005, Blessings has recognized him as a Blessings Scholar.

In addition to teaching in the School of Philosophy and Social Development at Shandong University, Dr. Xie has actively participated in academic conferences held by many universities in mainland China.

He is widely regarded in academic circles in mainland China as an authority on Plato.

He also teaches at China Evangelical Seminary North America.

His scholarly works, including The Way and the Truth, Freedom and Existence, and Four Essays on Freedom and Responsibility, have been highly regarded.
